1. M.G.M. Model School aims at and maintains an enviable track record in providing education to its students by promoting all fields of interest such as scholastic, games and sports, music and dramatic, outings and picnics, club and stage activities and so on. It is obligatory for all students to take part in all these activities.
  2. Students are accountable to the school authorities for their conduct not only in the school but also for the general behavior outside the school. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school, on the part of the pupils will be liable to disciplinary action including expulsion from the school.
  3. Being an English Medium School it is mandatory for all to speak only English on the school campus. Students are regularly screened and parents are taken into confidence.
  4. Leave shall be granted only when it is absolutely necessary or on medical grounds. Leave should be marked on the stipulated page in the Diary. No student shall be allowed to attend the class without leave application on the day he/she presents himself/herself after leave.
  5. Parents are not allowed to visit their wards in the classroom during working hours.
  6. Scribbling on desks, walls etc. are strictly prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found guilty.
  7. Students are expected to keep the school premises neat and clean.
  8. All wastes including torn paper, pencil shavings should be deposited in bins provided for the purpose.
  9. No ornaments except simple ear-rings (for girls) shall be worn in the school premises.
  10. School uniform is compulsory except on birthdays. If your ward’s birthday falls on a holiday, the child can wear colour dress the next working day.
  11. Children who avail the school conveyance must be present at the boarding point 10 minutes before the boarding time. Necessary arrangements should also be made at the bus stop by the parents to receive their children on return.
  12. Parents whose wards do not use the school transport are requested to inform the Principal, in writing the name of the person responsible for collecting their children from the school premises.
  13. Parents who send their wards to school in private vehicle may do so at their own risk. The school will in no way be responsible for any consequences.
  14. Safe keeping of their belongings is the responsibility of the students. They should not leave their books, Tiffin boxes, umbrellas, etc. carelessly either in the classrooms or in the school premises.
  15. Exchange of articles or money transaction between students is a punishable offence.
  16. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect to teachers, and other reprehensible behavior may entail dismissal from school.
  17. Mobile phones, CDs, Pen drives, i-pods etc. are strictly banned. Violations will be seriously dealt with.
  18. Students are not permitted to wear costly ornaments and articles and school is not responsible for such things if any.
